SMS Terms & Disclosure

1. Program Description

ALJ Heating & Cooling LLC ("we," "us," or "Company") operates an SMS messaging program under the brand name ALJ Heating & Cooling LLC SMS Alerts. When you provide your mobile phone number and check the SMS consent checkbox on our website contact form, you opt in to receive text messages (SMS) from us regarding:

• HVAC service inquiry follow-ups and free estimate scheduling
• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates
• Service status notifications and technician arrival alerts
• Seasonal maintenance reminders and HVAC service promotions
• Time-sensitive service alerts related to scheduled appointments

This program is operated in compliance with CTIA Messaging Principles, TCPA regulations, 10DLC carrier guidelines, and all applicable federal and state laws.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages by explicitly checking the SMS consent checkbox on our website contact form at aljheatingcoolingllc.com. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is entirely voluntary.

• Voluntary: SMS opt-in is never a condition of purchasing our services or receiving customer support. You may use our services and contact us without opting in to SMS.
• Explicit: Only consumers who actively check the consent checkbox are enrolled in our SMS program.
• Written record: Your checkbox selection constitutes written consent under the TCPA and carrier regulations.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may receive:

• Transactional messages: 1–3 messages per service request (confirmations, updates, completion notices).
• Promotional messages: Up to 4 messages per month, including seasonal offers and maintenance reminders.

4. Message & Data Rates

Msg & data rates may apply. Text messages are delivered through your wireless carrier's network. You may incur standard SMS charges according to your mobile plan. ALJ Heating & Cooling LLC does not charge any additional fee for participating in our SMS program. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.

5. How to Stop Messages (STOP)

You may opt out of our SMS program at any time. To unsubscribe:

• Text STOP to the number from which you received our messages. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will receive no further messages from us.

Opt-out requests are honored immediately upon receipt of your STOP message. You will not receive any further promotional or transactional SMS after opting out, except for a single opt-out confirmation reply.

9. Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your SMS consent at any time without penalty or any loss of access to our HVAC services. Simply text STOP, call us, or email us. Withdrawal of consent takes effect immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued receipt of SMS messages from us after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will provide advance notice of material changes where required by law.
